The results from the pilot study in March, where the deployment of a GPS collar and rear sensor were fitted to sheep in the lowlands provided promising results for being able to detect urination events in the field (Fig. 1). Watch this space as results come in from the full scale deployment of GPS tags and rear sensor units on 30 sheep at the upland semi-improved field site.
